NTS Sp. z o.o. (Ltd.) offers its services in soil stabilisation, the process of enhancing soil parameters applying all different types of soil binding agents.

We stabilise soils with hydraulic binders, i.e. reymix, lime, cement and ashes. Our daily (24 hour) output capability is at 30 000 m2 level at 50 cm strata thickness.

The stabilisation of a road bed is applied to both in new road constructions and to the renewal of damaged roads as well as to the construction of cycling lanes that do not require tarmac surfacing.

The stabilisation methods used by our company find their application in:

  • strengthening and enhancing road beds, marshalling yards and car parks;
  • constructing all kind of supply roads, cycling lanes, marshalling yards and car parks;
  • constructing embankments;
  • constructing bedding for floors and foundations of industrial premises;
  • strengthening substrate for waste dumps and storage yards.

The soil stabilisation methods proposed by our company guarantee a shorter implementation time, the lessening of tiresome construction works in town and city centres, resistance to rut-forming and cracking as well as enhancing the load-carrying ability of surfaces.

Stabilisation stages

1.A tractor with the spreader applies a binding agent along the prepared bed (levelled and fluffed).
 
2. Then – the binding agent is mixed with soil, using soil stabilising machine, mechanically mixing soil with the binding agent to the depth of max. 50 cm. Following the mixing stage, soil is compacting with rollers begins, followed by final profiling (gradients) of the road coupled with the final compacting. 4. The final stage of the stabilisation process is maintenance work.

  Our company offers surface renovation, applying cold recycling, which allows for the reuse of existing mineral-bitumen masses in order to stabilise weak substrata or bedding.

Available milling and mixing machines brake up and mix road construction materials with small amount of concrete and ion-exchange binding agent, thus forming a homogeneous and stabilised mass of 35 to 40 cm thickness.

Following the thickening process, it becomes new and strong and in some circumstances gives the possibility to be used as early as 24 hours later. This method, coupled with a short working process, gives a chance to utilise the materials that were used in constructing the previous road in 100 per cent, not having to transport them and no need of additional aggregate. The stabilised layer guarantees surface resistance to rutting, pot-holing and cracking.

This is the most environment friendly and economic method for the renewal of damaged road surfaces.

Recycling stages

1. Damaged road surface is crushed and mixed with a recycling machine, which is equipped with a drum, milling the surface to the depth of 0.5 m.
2. Then, the road is appropriately levelled off.
3. A binding agent appropriate to each bed is added to the reworked surface using a spreader.
4. Then, this same miller-recycler blends the previously crushed surface material with the binding agent present on its surface.
5. Finally, come the remaining operations: chemical processes and rollers compacting the material.

Preparation tasks

We also provide services in preparation tasks – involving complex preparations for construction works, such as tree felling, stumping, grinding and stumping bushes and groves as well as preparing grove areas for further development works.
 

Plant and equipment services

We provide equipment services with the following machinery:

  • excavators;
  • bulldozers;
  • levellers;
  • smooth and studded rollers of rubber-steel type;
  • stabilisation combines (recycler and binding agent spreader)

What is more, we work using Scanlaser GPS system, which allows for a very accurate and precise implementation of works.
